Impressive Footfall :   Uttar Pradesh boasts an average annual footfall of 238 million tourists, holding a 14% share in India. It ranks second in domestic tourist visits and third in attracting foreign tourists within India.
Cultural and Heritage Hotspot : Recognized as a premier destination for heritage and cultural tourism, Uttar Pradesh is also emerging as a key site for wellness, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), adventure, and eco-tourism.
Expansion and Development :   Seven existing tourism circuits and defined heritage arcs form the backbone of the state's tourism infrastructure, with ten more circuits in development. Iconic festivals such as the Taj Mahotsav, Kumbh Mela, and Holi are major tourist attractions.
Exceptional Policy Support and Objectives :  With a vision to become India's most preferred tourist destination by 2023, the policy aims for an investment target of INR 5,000 crore per year, aiming to provide employment to approximately 500,000 people annually.

Interest Subsidy :   @5% for 5 years upto Rs 25 lacs per annum to all new units.
Stamp Duty exemption :  @100% on sale/lease/transfer for the first transaction.
Conversion and Development charges waiver : @ 100% to all tourism units.
  • Skill Development Subsidy:
    @100% reimbursement of hospitality related course fees for upto Rs 10000 per person.
  • Capital Investment Subsidy :
    @15% to New Hotels/Resorts upto Rs 10 Cr
  • @15% to Wellness Centres upto Rs 10 Cr.
  • @10% to New Sports resort upto Rs 1 Cr.
  • @15% to New Budget Hotels upto Rs 1.5 Cr.
  • @20% to New Tented accommodation upto Rs 50 lacs.
  • @25% to New heritage properties upto Rs 1.5 Cr.
  • Excise License Fee exemption :  @100% exemption to Heritage hotels set up in rural areas.
